This bus wouldn't run dispite the advert on the side and had to be towed back to the yard. Not something you see every day.

I'm not surprised, looks like a Leyland. Knowing Stagecoach and our local Leylands which have left now, that ws something you saw all the time as they never bothered to fix them! The only one I'm aware of that survived is with Carousel of High Wycome
According to a fleetlist I looked at, it's an Olympian with a Northern Counties body. A 'G' reg'd so fairly old. What's the betting that if it's anything serious, it won't be repaired.
(formerly GeneralAdam) Ahh, Cambridge had several of these, but with recessed back windows and a number plate behind its own little window as well. Very comfy but I will always remember the one that had a broken retarder so it stopped jerkily and the upper deck stank of p*iss.

Not that rare in Thanet, but it's usually a Scania on the end!
Hear about the crashes near Brixton and the resulting traffic chaos today and thought of you
Yes it is the Count. I will post a close up in a day or two.
Not in Aylesbury it's not.. It's sadly a daily event here.
