After the game and a pint in the club house I went along to the bus rally being held today to mark 100 years of public transport in Torbay. The photo below shows the oldest and newest buses that were on display next to each other. The double decker Trident seen here in Devon General colours will be used for a while on the 12 route here in Torquay. It isn't all that old, 10 years or so. It will be interesting to drive it, no one will want to get on with it not being in Stagecoach colours..

that trident was one of the ex-cambridge park and ride tridents that originally came from London.
pity all but two were moved to Devon...great vehicles and very comfy.
I saw the flyer but missed the vent. The flyer had no contact info except some snail mail address. Most unusual in this day and age
17053, the Devon General Trident is now opperating on the 12 route. I haven't driven it yet but when I do I will get a photo.
What a nice livery 17053 is in! I wish Stagecoac would adopt different liveries for different areas. But a nice touch with the "DT" at the front!

Doesn't that Trident look good in DG livery- just goes to prove how good a livery it was.
'Twas a good day out, great to ride on some of the old vehicles- a big difference in the seat comfort- older the better
