Don't they need access to the manhole cover?
I'm sure the local residents will be happy when a van turns up with a jackhammer to chisel off the asphalt in due course.

Actually it was probably the email I sent to Torbay Council a few days ago.
Same difference - you are a bus driver are you not?
Why don't they place man-hole covers in the middle of the lane - too simple perhaps.
