It's still there, showing no signs of deterioration, my humble plastic bag.
In case you missed the begining of this on going little story it is to do with Blog Action Day 2007. Bloggers were asked to write about an issue that concerned the enviroment and this plastic bag was hung up on the line to deteriorate (saves space in a land fill site somewhere). It has been there since 21 September 2007 in the rain,(lots) sun,(now and then) wind,(gale force) frost (slight) and snow (15 seconds) and like all plastic bags everywhere (trillions of them) it isn't in any hurry to go anywhere.
This blog used to be all about bus driving but now it's about what ever I feel like writing about.

3 return tickets:
So many people dont use Plastic bags any more. Good to see, although probably far too late
One day a time will come when it's commonplace to dredge up 20th century landfill sites and reclaim recyclable goods. It takes 100 years for landfill sites to settle down before you can build on them so we've got time left yet.
Ironically, paper bags are extremely common in America - home of the SUV and the drive through bank.
When we moved here five years ago, one of the first things to annoy me was a bright green plastic bag, a similar type to yours, snagged in a copper beech opposite our living room windows.
Despite storms and hurricanes beating the hell out of it, it was only in the last few weeks that the last remnants have disappeared.
Have patience!
