Young Farmers Arrive.

They started to arrive in town about lunch time and by 5:00 pm there were reports of YFs chasing after buses in Fleet Walk and trying to lift the engine covers at the rear of the buses. Maybe they are missing their sheep already.

Why is it with the attraction to 'Emergency Engine Stop Buttons'?

Is it because these people who like to touch them are that simple, the bright coloured text that shows where it is, is just too much for them that they can't leave it alone.

Im waiting for someone to chase my car down the street and lift the bonnet and disconnect the battery... Or grab hold of my car spoiler and hang on for life whilst I drive down the road.

Bemused.

Strange people... It came to a head in Plymouth last year when a yobbo tried to do the same to one of our Darts... opened the engine cover.. stuck his hand in and lost three fingers... and the PC brigade tried to blame the driver FFS.

Ahh Good old Young Farmers, always up to something !! I blame the copius amounts of alcohol they consume, its a rule of joining I think !!

Seriously though, good luck and hope they do't cause to much grief for you and your colleagues :)

PWS Thanks for your advice re the Swindon Drivers, did as you advised, got a letter thanking me for the complimentary letter, they have ignored the complaint one !!!
