This is the Post Office Roundabout at the end of Fleet St this afternoon. The car has broken down and is stuck in gear and can not be moved(?). The bus can not get round it and is stuck. As are about 7 or 8 other buses, including me. There was an additional twist when a pedestrian approached the driver of the car and had words with him. It is then alleged that the driver pushed the pedestrian who fell. We are now all waiting for the police to arrive and sort the mess out. At least it is a nice sunny day and a big crowd soon gathered to enjoy the incident.

If the car had broken down in gear, and is "stuck" it can easily be shifted.
Been reading your blog for ages now but first time to comment! We were in Brixham on Thurs last week and hitched a lift on the park and ride. I must say, the drivers we had were very friendly but it was noticable that everytime we slowed and another bus was coming the other way, they both stopped for a quick chat! Still haven't managed to spot you yet though!
If I owned a bus company I'd fit 'shunt' bars to the front of every bus as standard.

Once the police arrived the car was soon pushed out of the way.
