There are, as far as I know, no plans to remove this tree from it's prominent position on Torre Abbey Gardens.
Unlike the trees that used to surround Paignton Community College that have mostly gone.
I have no idea why this tree plus about 15 others have been removed from the grounds of Paignton Community College, nothing to do with Swine Flu is it? Can you get Swine Flu from trees?

David, as a Torbay lad living overseas, your Bus Driving comments appeared regularly in my Google Alerts. I enjoyed them a lot. But recently nothing until this tree story. Is it me or you at fault?

Since I gave up bus driving last August I haven't posted as often as I used to but so far I have posted 11 times this month (May).If you haven't got an alert for the lads riding bikes down the steps in Fleet St then you could have a problem.
